Kiss my ALS will be having it’s First Annual Fundraiser for ALS research.
The fantastic Lynne Jordan and the Shivers will be playing so wear your dancing shoes! Attractions include a celebrity kissing booth, a champagne bar with local restauranteurs pouring bubbly,and Chicago sports stars will be on hand to autograph T-shirts and other KissmyALS logo swag for a donation to the cause! You can get your “Love Forecast” from one of our psychics and there will be many opportunities to win great raffle prizes through out the evening.
Tickets are $40 for general admission before 2/10 and $50 at the door
VIP couples packages are $250
The VIP couples package includes a value packed Valentines themed gift bag, complimentary champagne bar, a limo ride home within 5 miles of the venue, a pair of Kiss My ALS logo boxers and a boy short, a spa gift certificate and chocolates

Proceeds from this event benefit ALS-Therapy Development Institute, founded in 1999 and collaborating since 2006 with the MDA’s Augie’s Quest, this is the only non-profit research institute devoted to finding a cure for ALS. ALS-TDI excels in identifying novel disease targets, discovering compounds that may act against these targets and screening these potential treatments toward bringing vital therapies to the clinic. Supported by individuals, business leaders and ALS families, every dollar is critical to the research. 83% of their revenue goes directly to fund their research process and every contribution has an immediate and focused impact on finding a cure for ALS.

Mark and I will see you on 2/10/2010. My brother-in-law, Paul now knows about the KissMyALS website and it brings relief, albeit sadness too, to hear from a dear friend of mine who is helping others with ALS cope (and sometimes not cope)with the day-to-day life of living with ALS. We miss my father-in-law very much. He would have loved you and your sense of humor. I believe that humor and a spirit like yours will keep your chin up, even when your body is not agreeing with your mind. Please call me if you need anything.
